An independent evaluation at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has found that Proximie’s Intelligence Suite can improve operating theatre efficiency, enabling teams to complete an additional robotic thoracic surgery case per day without extending theatre hours.
The findings were presented by consultant thoracic surgeon Andrea Bille at the 39th European Association for Cardio Thoracic Surgery Annual Meeting. The evaluation assessed the use of Proximie’s AI driven platform across two NHS robotic thoracic surgery lists, examining its impact on procedure times and workflow efficiency.
