Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) has made efficiency gains across its robotic thoracic surgery lists by using Proximie’s Intelligence Suite.
Proximie's Intelligence Suite was implemented across two NHS robotic thoracic surgery lists. Through its ambient data collection and AI-driven analysis, the platform provided the surgical team with visibility at every stage of the operative pathway, allowing them to clearly pinpoint and then address inefficiencies.
An independent evaluation at GSTT found that utilising Proximie's Intelligence Suite to identify targeted efficiency optimisations, the GSTT team reduced surgical procedure lengths by nearly 20 minutes per case on average, unlocking hidden capacity that approached one hour across each surgical list.
