We are continuing to expand our commercial teams in the US and so we are hiring for an experienced Sales Director to join the team. Reporting to the US General Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping to drive revenue growth across specific market segments and geographies across the US. Proximie is a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment and so we are looking for resilient commercial leaders who can embrace the Proximie culture and drive business forward.

THE ROLE:

We are continuing to expand our commercial teams in the US and so we are hiring an experienced Sales Director – Medical Devices to join the team. Reporting into the US General Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping to drive revenue growth across specific market segments across the US. Proximie is a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment and so we are looking for resilient commercial leaders who can embrace the Proximie culture and drive business forward.

RESONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to profitably grow revenue of Proximie within specified medical device market segments.
  • Build relationships with medical device companies to utilize Proximie solutions for medical education, virtual rep support and similar programs to meet partner needs.
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis including price negotiation for proactive bids and proposals.
  • Provide consultation to medical device partners on best use of teleproctoring/telepreceptor for educational and Key Opinion Leader events.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
  • Work closely with each internal department to ensure marketing, research, data, evidence, and product developments are aligned to American market needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 10+ years of “commercial” experience of which at least 5 years have been focused on sales or business development experience in Medical Devices / Medical Technology with a track record of success.
  • Expert in OR, IR or Cath Lab procedures and workflow
  • Good communicator with strong negotiation skills.
  • Passionate about healthcare and digital innovation.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of detail and thoroughness.
  • Resilience and adaptability.
  • Self-starter who is committed and comfortable in delivering results.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience / understanding of Health IT, Digital Health, Telehealth in the surgical domain.
  • Start-up experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly on a varied schedule based on the needs of the team, with availability during nights and weekends as needed.
